I played the ponies this weekend for the first time at Santa Anita. I highly recommend going to your local track if you get a chance. You're outside, you can gamble, and there's all sorts of terrific crappy grandstand food to fill up on like beer and hotdogs.

You know, I ran the Santa Anita Derby Day 5k three years in a row, and I never once stayed around to watch the races. I wish I had.
Hooray! I love going to the races! Ok, so I've only gone three times, but I've had a blast every time I went. I even won money by betting on the longshot horse with the witty name.
